If someone records it, they would have proof that their elders told them so. At least the local corporations and elders would be on the hook.

Cowardly Change of Policy in the UK
by Slidin Fast inthe britain branch has called a confidential meeting tonight with a controversial announcement.
the message is of such import that it was transmitted by word of mouth only, nothing in writing, ears only.
a decision made by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses and transmitted orally down the chain of command, a decision proving the leadership of this spirit lead body.. the gdpr laws in the uk have been interpreted by wt lawyers so that all record keeping relating to the public has been banned, telephone witnessing and letter writing also, forbidden.. now in a show of supreme bravado the publishers are to be informed that if they wish to, if they dare, they may write to people at their own risk.. bear in mind, nothing is in writing.

Does Anybody Here Sympathize With The Looters That Cause Destruction?
by minimus ini realize some here are diehard democrats.
whether you are democrat, republican or independent, do you support any of these looters that cause mayhem and destruction for their cause?
i have heard some people sympathize with these law breakers saying they understand why they do what they do and leave it at that.. of course i wonder how they would feel if their own property was burnt or stolen or destroyed..

The Boston Tea Party was voted upon and executed by a de-facto new government, the British knew about it and let it go on. The tea was sitting there anyway, there is a lot more to the history of the Boston Tea Party than just some people throwing some stuff overboard, this was a self-established government militia.
Basically if CHOP/CHAZ had succeeded to rule itself without killing anyone, they could've done similar things, a bloodless revolution is always helpful.

Anyone know the org's view on the HPV vaccine?
by careful intypes of cancer.i've been wondering for some time what the current gb has said about witness parents giving the green light, or red light, to having their kids vaccinated against hpv (the human papillomavirus) since it is a sexually transmitted disease.
it causes cervical and other types of cancer.
the recommended age for vaccination is 8-12 years old.

@WTwizard: vaccines do not cause autism, there is no scientific basis to that.
The WTBTS is more concerned about whether the kid is actually doing something with their baby making parts than vaccination.
It will probably end up being a “conscience matter” and they often copy contemporary Christian writers on these matters.
As far as I know there is no outright or even an implied ban, as my daughter whose mother is PIMI has gotten it.

Is the JW blood card a legal document without it being notorized
by goingthruthemotions injust as the subject says.
is it legal without a notory?.
so glad me and my boys are out, we don't have to worrry about that false teaching.
-

Is it legal: off course it is. Is it enforceable is another question altogether and largely depends on your locale.
If you sign it but not notarized or without witnesses that can represent your will, it may not be considered your wants in situations where people throw doubts on its veracity.
In most cases signing is sufficient, but it may be overthrown in court if the document is not considered reasonable or if your caretaker says it was signed under duress or faked. This is more an issue if you have multiple contradictory documents.

What is REALLY behind the destruction of the Postal Service? I decided to research it ...
by Terry ini don't know about you - but i never know when i'm being lied to or told the truth any longer.

Yes, that's why so many companies leverage third party 401k companies to invest the money in.
The Postal Office and some other large parties (eg. GE and GM and the US Government) have historically refused to use a third party because they don't want to transfer the funds (as they still leverage these funds), thus for every employee you hire, when they're 18 or 20, if you promise them retirement (which USPS does, even for their most junior employee) you have to start funding their retirement.
Retirement funds are basically a savings account for your employees, you can't say, I'll hire you today and I'll start fund your retirement from operational funds when you need it. There is compound interest. So if you promise $20 today and you DON'T FUND (which is what you're proposing), 40 years from now you have to start paying out $2000.
Where do you think that money comes from? Taxpayer of course which will have to bail out these funds as they have been doing for the last 20-30 years, the USPS needs to make up a LOT of money as they still aren't fully funding their existing pension funds from retirement funds, they are STILL asking Congress for money to fund the current retirees. So yes, for every employee they hire today, they have to fund twice the amount of retirement to cover current and future retirees because compounded interest over the last 50 years.

What is Causing This Sudden Increase in Crime / Racial Tension???
by RubaDub inyes, there has been crime as long as we can remember.
under 8 years of obama, there was crime.
under 8 years of bush the younger, there was crime.

@sir82: It's undisputed that racial tensions before Obama took office were better than when he left office. Nothing is perfect, there will always be issues between various groups of people. A lot of people though quite correctly that racism was over when we elected a black President, it showed the world, that regardless of your upbringing and race, you can aspire to get to be the most powerful man on earth.
Obama subsequently shat all over that idea and said that racism is getting worse, that voting and accepting black people was not sufficient, no you were to submit to the black man, pay him reparations, let him take your property, your job and everything else because he was owed it because his ancestors experienced racism. The black man was never wrong, it was always an underlying racism and white supremacy to blame for every wrong, every crime and every outcome.
As a result you have people increasingly segregating themselves, you have increased black-on-black crime, situations in the 'hood' are getting worse and increased unemployment across black people. No longer were you allowed to look at a black person's criminal record when hiring (outlawed under Obama), so employers started using names and race as proxies to the likelihood of people being a criminal. Left-wing policy trying to correct perceived wrongs has always, always damaged more. This is true in environmental issues (nuclear bans -> increased coal usage), in political and societal issues.

I hear the "the USPS is forced to pre-fund their retirement" argument all the time. The fact is that EVERY business in the US since Enron has been forced to pre-fund their retirement. The result is that employers now have more honest retirement benefits because they HAVE TO. It's why we now have primarily third party 401K.
You can't just promise what you can't pay in the future. Why, it's pretty darn dishonest to take the retirement funds you promise your employees and re-invest them in your own (failing) business model. Actually, if you look at the numbers, the USPS is now paying more in retirement than salary even though they haven't even fully funded their prerequisite retirement fund. So basically USPS is paying for today's retirees and for tomorrow retiree's because 30 years ago they DIDN'T pay for today's retirees, they just took the money and ran the post office to the ground. If the USPS went bust today, you'd have about 20 years worth of people that won't get their retirement funds at all because the funds aren't there.
The USPS is failing because they are still controlled by government, they have to provide services that aren't profitable and their unions suck them dry through Cadillac insurance and pension benefits. Every President changes the leadership, that's not news, during Obama, it was full of Obama cronies that used the USPS to enrich themselves and report on Republican and religious organizations, who allowed Amazon to get a sweetheart deal from the USPS so Amazon has effectively been subsidized by the USPS? Obama.
If they were able to have an independent leadership, based on merits, not on politics and tune their pension and other employment benefits to match their courier services, they'd be a lot better off.

I don't think they're talking about the rapture, they're actually saying "Armageddon will come after the last one of us died" - this is similar to the promise in the pre-1990's that all 144,000 would have to die first before Armageddon, then it became noo light that the 144,000 weren't yet fully collected but that it wouldn't really matter whether or not they were alive (people were basically "slowing down" until the old bread-eater in the hall bit the dust).

It's fairly straight forward. When did the tensions start?
Obama's Beer Summit - a Harvard black professor is arrested by a white police officer because the professor tried to break into his own house and subsequently lashed out at the police that were called. He claimed this was every day racism (which wasn't supported by any stats or facts).
A few other issues later, where everyone that opposed Obama was called a racist.
Trayvon Martin, later ruled by a judge and jury to be a criminal that assaulted a Hispanic neighborhood watchman and got shot in the altercation, Obama told them "Trayvon could've been my son".
Police got shot by a (black) sniper in an ambush, Obama delivered the eulogy and instead of condemning the violence, he expressed "the need to understand the grievances of African-Americans who’ve protested racial bias"
That's when relations between blacks, police and whites started to decay rapidly. Many more occurrences where Obama should've called for peace and reflection, and condemn gross criminals (Michael Brown comes to mind) and instead he called for hatred, divisiveness and outright race wars.
